The AAOS planning department is cooperating with a Chinese company to prepare a feasibility study and a full engineering document for a sulphuric acid plant in western Libya to take advantage of the locally produced sulphur and transform it to an acid to cover the local market as well as north Africa of sulphuric acid. The plan involves NOC’s participation and partial financing in addition to the involvement of ENI gas as it is an NOC partner.

A project of LPG transportation and distribution in Libya is currently undergoing and was concluded in the past year with brega petroleum marketing company. The duration of which is two years.

Our current project that is taking most our intention nowadays is the methanol project of which cost is estimated in the range of 1$ billion USD. This project is a very promising project that has already drawn the interest of NOC (national oil corporation) that expressed interest in it due to the importance of this project.

During the course of initial research and economic profit as well as the revenue expected, we have assigned well- known companies to conduct the feasibility study, Johnson matthy and ebtech global LTD which are one of the largest companies in this field (THIS PROJECT IS STILL BENDING WITH NOC).

We have recently been granted a special agency by (UTD UNi CLEAN) as the exclusive agent in Libya.
